Johannes Zwick
Founder & Managing Partner
Johannes Zwick founded Zwick Partners LP as an investment vehicle for his family in 2012 and began his investment career in 2009 when he started managing separate accounts for various family members. Prior to Zwick Partners, Johannes worked in his family’s health care business in Europe on operational and strategic initiatives. In that role, he initiated and supervised the company's largest acquisition to date.
Johannes continues to serve as a board member for the family business and is active on several portfolio company boards in industries such as health care, manufacturing, and specialized packaging. He also spent a year as the interim President of one of the firm's portfolio companies.
Johannes holds a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College in History with a minor in German, as well as an M.B.A. from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business with a concentration in Finance.
Brad Batten
Partner
Prior to joining Zwick Partners, Brad Batten spent 6 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. At BofA Merrill Lynch Brad was responsible for structuring and underwriting credit products for Private Equity leveraged buyouts. In addition to transaction responsibilities, Brad assisted in the management of Bank of America’s credit exposure to these transactions, consisting of an $8.7Bn portfolio of debt.
At BofA Merrill Lynch Brad also held various roles in Risk Management which included distressed portfolio management and portfolio analytics for both internal reporting (Board of Directors) and external reporting (SEC).
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College in History with a minor in Economics.
